Closing a Problem Upon Logging

Often a User may be able to resolve a Problem immediately.

To close a Problem at the same time as logging the Problem:

  1. Create a new Problem by clicking File >> New >> Problem.
  2. Complete the Problem details as you would normally
  3. In the Solution tab on the Problem, for the Initial Solution select Resolved
  4. Select Send closed confirmation email to primary requestor on log according to your requirements
