FAQ

Q: When and email is received into our versaSRS system, the Requestor First Name contains the originating email address, e.g. "Joe.bloggs@domain.com" and also stores the email address in the email address field to.  It's not putting in the Requestors First & Last Name in the correct fields.

Why is it doing this, and how I can get it to parse correctly?

A: When a call is logged via email, the VersaSRSMailIn service populates the First Name and Last Name by parsing the email display name (friendly name as set through the email server). If this information is not available through the email server, the First Name is set to the email address.
