I am a new trial user of VersaSRS. I am running Win7 Pro, and have installed SQLexpress 2005. I then install Versasrs V4.1.0. Versasrs appears to installs successfully. However, the following occurs when I start Versasrs for the first time: 1.) I run/start Versasrs as administrator 2.) I successfully test connect to sqlexpress 3.) I excute the "dbcreate.xml" file and I get a popup message "Congratulations! you have successfully updated the databases for versaSRS. Click Ok to continue the application". The connection log says "Database permissions setup successfully" 4.) I click Ok and immediately get the message "Cannot open database VersaSRS" requested by the login. The Login failed. Login failed for user "computer name\myuserid" 5.) I then Open SQL Server Management Studio Express and there is no VersaSRS database
I have reinstalled VersaSRS several times and get the same message. I also get the same problem when I have tried to install on Win XP and Win 2003 systems. Please recommend a solution.

Hi,
Could you try this again but when connecting try using the the computer name instead of local host. For example ComputerName\sqlexpress
