Hi, When comments are added to a Versa ticket the check box "Add Comments to Solution" is defaulted to on. Therefore, when comments are added they are in the solution portion of the page which makes it very difficult to read. Would it be possible to change the default on this page to off  Thanks in advance Regards srinu

Hi,
You can set the default for this setting by opening the versaSRS - SMC. Once connected to the database, under the Application Settings tab select the AddCommentsToSolution paramater and set the default status to Unchecked.
When making changes to the Application Settings you will need to remember to reload the global settings, which can be done in versaSRS by selecting Administrator >> System Tools >> System Info >> Reload Global Settings.

Hi Philip, Many thanks for your response. I have one query, as i have versaSRS version 3.3. Is your answer applicable to this version. Why i am asking this question because, i dont have access to versaSRS - SMC. I have asked this question on behalf of my senior. Who said that, she doesnot find this setting. So, before i escalate this issue to her. i want to confirm. I hope you dont mind my stupid question Many Many thanks and waiting for your reply. Regards Srinu

Hi Srinu,
Yes this still applies to version 3.3. The default installation path to the versaSRS -SMC is C:\Program Files\VersaDev\VersaSRS\VersaSRS-SMC
