Hi, Just installed VersaSRS, the VersaSRSMailOut service runs for about 10 seconds then stops. I try manually restarting it via Microsoft services console as well as the VersaSRS System Management console. I have changed the Temp directory settings, and applied, then rebooted coputer, but nothing is being writtrn to the c:\temp\versasrs location - zilch. I have telnetted to our exchange mail server - from the computer VersaSRS is installed, and successfully sent test emails.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Michael.

Hi,
This issue may be caused by an incorrect registry key in the registry settings.
You can check this manually with the following path.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VersaDev\versasrs\
Check that the Data for the Name DSN is the correct connection string to the versasrs database.

Thats brilliant - perfect. The DSN string was using localhost - changed this to server\sqlexpress - and works a treat.
Thanks very much!
Cheers, Michael.
