I have downloaded the VesraContaxImport Tool and have got it connected to the same database VersaSRS is using, connected to the Active Directory. When I tick the "Load AD" tickbox and hit process I get the contacts i want to import - see below pic: I then tick the "Import AD as VersaSRS contacts" box and click process again and it goes through the process. Unfortunately when I load up VersaSRS there are no contacts - what am I missing? There is no error message and no content in the log file.

There are actually two contact modules. The standard versaSRS contacts and versaCRM contacts. From version 4.0 and above versaCRM contacts has been made the default contact module. From what I can see it seems you have imported the contacts into the standard versaSRS contacts module and if you are viewing versaCRM contacts from versaSRS you will not see the contacts you have imported. You need to 'Import AD as versaCRM Contacts' and they should be visible in versaSRS through the versaCRM contacts module.

Thanks for the tip. I have tried that option and the contacts are still not showing up in the VersaSRS application. I have checked the actual SQl table and the contacts are there so not quite sure why I cant see them... See Pic: Is there an administrative task such as "approve contacts" that I need to perform?

How are you accessing the contacts within versaSRS?

I am logging in as a user I created called 'helpdesk' and going to View | versaCRM | Contacts. This shows me one contact I manually created and none of the imported contacts. See below: Just to confirm - If I click the contacts button on the blue bar I go to this page: /versaSRS/modules/versaContax/versaContax_Search.aspx Which also shows only the one contact.

If you open the versaSRS-SMC and load the application settings, which contact module are you using? This is found in the CRMModule field.

I had another look at the our Database and it seems we have two different database, one running on an 'express' SQL database and one on a 'standard' SQL database. We were using the standard database for VersaSRS but the contact import tool was importing into the express database.
I switched the import tool to look at the standard/correct database and as expected the contacts showed up!
Therefor, I am finally up and running with VersaSRS!
Sorry for my own ignorance! Thank you for all your help.
